It's in the Book!

This picture would appear to support Pickle's statement that Ascalonians have visited Earth in the past. This ancient book from the twelfth century, which is chained to the wall, clearly depicts one of Pickle's ancestors, a subject of great delight to the member of the Hysterical Society of Nottingham examining it.
