What a Shambles.

Pickle and Pearl wanted to see more of the Ancient City of York before they flew off to pastures new. The history of York goes back to 8000-7000 B.C. and during the Roman occupation was one of the two capitals that the Romans established. But you don't need a history lesson from me, you can look it up in your Wikipedia, or maybe the Hysterical Society of Nottingham will have something pithy to say about it! Nevertheless (always the more!) as we look down The Shambles, a famous thoroughfare in York we see in the foreground, the sister (Sylvia) of the 'guide' and in front the sister-in-law (Barbara) and brother (Alan) who seems to have spotted P. & P. settled on a window-sill. Our doughty pair will be taking off on a voyage of discovery and (dare I say it) spying for the Ascalonions back home.
