We all scream for ice-cream

As you can see, Pearl is introducing Spring to the joys of ice-cream. Pearl showed disappointment and displeasure when she could not get her favourite flavour, Teekie-Leekie and had to settle for Tutti-Frutti which happened to be flavour of the weekie. The belief of the general public is that Pickle and Pearl dropped by simply for a holiday, while the Publique Generale Francais insists the Brits must remain en garde.
CORRECTION. Concerning the picture in the last issue,(see below) an alert reader pointed out that the book in the picture was actually from the eleventh century and was not chained to the wall. It was the vicar who was chained to the wall!
