If this is Winter - roll on Spring!

When Pickle and Pearl looked through their window on Monday morning their eyes(?) widened and their minds gasped as they saw all the unexpected white stuff coming down and laying on the lawn and driveway, (not that they have any use for a driveway!) and shouted for a camera. They have been planning to take a trip across country but the weather in B.C. is still not good enough. The 'guide' asked why they did not want to be 'snowbirds' and go South for the winter where it is warmer, but Pickle said he objected to a country that doesn't believe in ice skating. He really is looking forward to canal travel, which is why, for the time being, they will stay here. Now the 'guide' is worried, where is he going to find skates that fit?
