Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Whale watch

One of the big attractions around Vancouver Island is a trip on a sight-seeing boat to track the antics of the whales, celebrated by the First Nations in dance and Totem poles but believed by some to be myths. Pickle and Pearl took a trip and as a cold wind was blowing, it might have been a mythtake but, by and large, (whatever that means!) they said they would not have mythed it. Just because there are pictures of whales does not validate their existence, after all, there are pictures of unicorns, leprechauns and bigfoots (bigfeet?) and they don't exist. Right? As there were no leeks, no coal miners and no Welsh tenors (P. & P. were confusing Whales and Wales), a notice asking for members of a choir, O.R.C.A, (Only Rhondas Can Apply) held no fascination for them. The picture in the next issue may prove them wrong.
