Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Wooden Heads.

Along the coast road in Campbell River B.C. there is a piece of land set aside for a (I think) yearly competition involving artists in wood, carving wood artistically in weird and wonderful shapes. Of course, Pickle and Pearl were intrigued by the ingenuity and artistry of the wood carvings, reminiscent of the ice sculptures in Ottawa during Winterlude, but more permanent. Also, of course, Pickle wanted a picture to send to the 'guide' for inclusion in the Annals of the Adventures of the Ascalonions. Personally, I think they are getting a little swelled headed.
NOTE:- In 26th Feb. issue I highlighted the talents of Eric Benson, I forgot to mention that Eric has a letter which Neil Young printed in his web page LIVING WITH WAR TODAY right after one by the famous Michael Moore. As a favour to Pickle and Pearl, read the letter and listen to 'Writings of Holy Men'
