Coronation Street re-visited

You will recall that the Vitalonions were last seen in Scotland heading for Edinburgh. Having heard of the arrival of the Ascalonions before them, they decided to cut short their sight-seeing and head South o' the Border, into Sassenach territory, down Salford way before this sentence became too long to respond to the usual grammar and unusual punctuation. What will the 'grouch' of the Street (Blanche) make of it? Will Jack and Vera, (the 'Duckies') do a song and dance, (of which they are quite capable). Come on, 'Corrie' fans, what do you think?
