The Onions have landed

Once upon a time, in a gallant, friendly little village, growing gracefully into a town(?), there landed a spaceship(?). The occupants of the aforementioned space ship were none other than our intrepid explorers, Pickle and Pearl (and family) who had decided that the social climate in England was becoming too 'hot'. The name of the village was Stittsville, barely on the map, until now, and somehow associated with the nearby city of Ottawa, whatever that means! In an attempt to integrate into the community, P. & P.'s first task is to look around for a suitable abode in which to settle and bring up a family. This raises a few questions. Will they be accepted by the community? Will they 'fit in'? This writers guess is 'Yes' knowing the friendly folk of Stittsville. What do you think?
