Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Rugby, anyone?

While we await news of our intrepid visitors, this picture taken in Cardiff Arms Park, the shrine of rugby football in Wales shows the sporting nature of the Ascalonions. This flyer flew off course and landed in the 'Land o'the Leek well known as an enemy of the Ascalonions and substituted himself for the rugby ball. One cannot but wonder what will happen when the first drop kick is attempted, It is assumed that the Ascalonion, whose name, funnily enough, is 'Pepperoni' will take the opportunity to fly away, if he isn't too fractured to fly! If he does take the road to freedom, will that mean the end of the match and the end of rugby in Wales as we know it, or will Sir Harry Secombe and Bryn Terfel have to find something else to sing about? Stay tuned.
