Flower Power.

Victoria B.C. has the reputation of being the 'City of Gardens' which is why Pickle and Pearl wanted to see them before the 'end of the world loomed' and they had to return home! Did you know, in February the residents count the blossoms in their neighbourhood and register the result. P. & P. could not take part in the count as they do not have sufficient fingers and toes. After smelling the flowers Pickle remembered Shakespeare's immortal words "...an onion by any other name would smell as...", to which Pearl answered, "Some happy philosopher remarked, an apple a day keeps the doctor away, an onion a day keeps everybody away". All this, of course, is immaterial and the beautiful flowers should take the smell away.
