Here come de judge!
Since the Hysterical Society of Nottingham raised it's ugly, (sorry, inquisitive) head once again, as in our last issue, pictures from the olden days have been flooding in to the chronicler of Pickle and Pearl outlining some of their previous visits to our benighted and dying planet. As one of my previous (deceased) wives, the second I think it was, remarked, "The world would be a beautiful place if it wasn't for all the people in it". But I digress, (don't I always), I am passing on to you, my faithful readers, one of the submitted portraits showing three Tudor judges from about 1523 A.D. and their visiting inquisitor.
Hey, how about a Little Fly:- Little Fly upon the mat/ Do you know just what you're at?/ The family cat is just near by/ It'll get you when you do a little fly.
