Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Milk is OK though!

Pearl:- "I'm getting dizzy with all this rushing around, where are we now?".
Pickle:- "We are still in India, I wanted to show you what a sacred cow looks like".
Pearl:- "They look like any old cows, is that why North Americans say 'Holy cow' quite a lot?"
Pickle:- "Probably, apart from wandering in the poorer parts of Calcutta as you see here, because the cow is sacred the people are not allowed to kill them or interfere with them so they make a mess wherever they like (the cows that is) and you will find them walking casually on the Maidan beside the main thoroughfare, Chowringhee, with an army of Untouchables cleaning up after them, which is why they are Untouchables, never mind, we have Australia to visit next".
