The Great Game!

In their search for Earth defences Pickle and Pearl on their world tour have found, in Croatia, a new stadium which they felt it their duty to examine. The stadium houses a soccer pitch and the Croatian National team performed very well in the European tournament, Euro2008, reaching the quarter finals. Pickle, not understanding the world's most popular game, football, so called because the combatants kick the ball, unlike American (the so-called) football where they very rarely do. Pickle can now add to his report, which states that in France the people fight monkeys, in Spain the people fight bulls and bulls chase people, in Europe, two teams, instead of fighting each other, fight a little ball with their feet and head. Sometimes each others heads!
