Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Wool too!

Hi! or as the Maoris say "Kiaora" How can Pickle and Pearl leave the Antipodes without a visit to New Zealand. Having exhausted the pleasures of boomeranging, Kangerooing and doctors flying they decided to move on. Take a look at the picture, what do you see? A rocky plain, a fall of boulders from a mountain, no, it is a picture of the staple industry of N.Z. Sheep. New Zealand was the first exporter of frozen lamb. Of course, this was in July when the weather was at its coldest. Imagine having Christmas on the hottest day of the year! For sports fans, New Zealand is home to a famous rugby team known as the All-Blacks, not because they are all black but because they play in all-black strip. They always win! Well, Most of the time.
