Fiddler on the Roof.
The picture that graces the wall in the room that the 'guide' calls his music room is a reprint of a Marc Chagall painting. The painting was given to the 'guide' by a very dear friend as a token of his part (Avram) in a Polysar Glee Club's presentation of "Fiddler on the Roof" in Sarnia. The seven performances over two weeks earned the principals and cast a standing ovation each night. He talks about "Camelot", (Sir Sagramore), "Music Man" (the Policeman, Keystone type), "Gondoliers" (a court painter), and his favourite, "Kismet" (Omar), among others. The stories are too many and would take up too much room, but - Happy days.
LITTLE FLY upon the stage/ You'll never earn a living wage/ You'll never find you're in the "spot"/ For talent is what you have not got.
