Pickle and Pearl go lawn bowling

Pickle and Pearl have decided to start out on the right foot(?) and meet their new neighbours in Stittsville Neighbourhoods. Pickle had seen the lawn bowling green and had wanted to try it as an expression of the Earth's social pastime. However, it is obvious that they would not be capable of propelling a 4 pound bowl over the grass so their participation was to take on a more demanding role. As you can see, Pearl was about to replace a bowling ball but after seeing what happened to the regular bowls with the clicking wicks off other bowls she decided to pass. Pickle on the other hand, thought it would be fun to be a 'jack' and be bowled at. He was lucky he didn't get knocked out of bounds! They did, however, enjoy the social time after the game, seen in the next edition.
