Dow's Lake

Pickle and Pearl wanted to know if there is anywhere else locally that might have frequent visitors that they would be interested in. The 'guide' thought for a few minutes and came up with another beauty spot - Dow's Lake. Our visitors from Ascalonia were thrilled when we went there and were happy to see so much water that wasn't boiling. They were much taken with all the pleasure boats that were tied up and vowed that they would enjoy a ride in a pedal (paddle?) boat. I wanted to know how they would 'paddle' it and they said, don't worry, we'll jump up and down on the pedals. So that were decided upon!
