Unkemptville re-visited!

In the issue of 10 August 2006, that is over a year ago, Pickle, Pearl and family went on a visit to Kemptville, looked at the main street and the surroundings and came up with the statement, "So this is Unkemptville". On another visit this year, Pickle was surprised to see that roadworking was in progress and although stretches of the main street were torn up and closed off it was obvious that the powers-that-be were doing their best to tart up the place. This time, Pickle's view was that someone was trying to make it 'kempt' again. If Pickle is still around next year, maybe he will take another look?
