The investigation concludes.
Pickle was not satisfied by the explanation of the mysterious death of Mr. Cecil Henpeck (see last issue) and wanted more details. As I said previously, there was no sign of Mr. Henpeck's wife although a reliable (?) witness, the village drunk said he saw Leticia Henpeck swinging through the trees accompanied by a man in a loin-cloth issuing blood-curdling cries. A polce spokesperson said nothing about this case made sense and they were closing the 'Book' on it. I told Pickle, some time later, a letter was sent to the editor of the "Village Voice", Dear Sir, I am not now, or ever have been related to Mrs. Henpeck of Tung-Lashing and my boy-friend Tarzan of the Grapes can vouch for this. so get in the swing and bark up another tree! Yours, Leticia Henpeck, "The Vines", 2nd. Banyan from the right, Africa. By the way, dear readers, if you click your mouse on the picture it will grow to fill the screen and you will get more details.
