Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Breakfast with Pickle.

Having read a little about the origin and doings of the Hysterical Society of Nottingham (the H.S.N.) (11th Oct. 2007) you won't be surprised to see another finding of their's in this famous painting by Boucher. He called the painting 'Le Dejeuner' with the first 'e' acute. You can see that although the main characters are astonished to see the sudden appearance of Pickle. The baby who has obviously not heard of Pickle and Pearl in those far off, olden days sees nothing unusual in the apparition and couldn't care less. This statement being grammatically correct, the word 'could' is completely false, wrong and improper!
And now - LITTLE FLY upon the screen/ You should be never heard but seen/ So if I hear the slightest buzz/ Look out fly, here come de fuzz!
