An ongoing investigation
Pickle saw the book. He was (as usual) curious and wanted to know something of its history. I told him it was a very hysterical piece and narrated the tale. It concerned the mysterious death of Cecil Henpeck, a well-known Titty-fancier, in his living room in the village of Tung-Lashing. There were no signs of foul play but a Docker called to the scene thought the man had been talked to death. The only clue was a pop-up book with a dragon (significant) with a lively tongue. The name of the book (also significant) was "Lady Loverly's Chatter", alongside was a birthday card "To my wife". The wife could not be found! Inquiries are continuing.
Correction :- For Titty-fancier read City Financier (old joke) and for Docker read Doctor.
