A Tower of Power

'Allo'Allo! Pickle and Pearl as you can see are taking advantage of the fact that they are in Paris and a visit to the city would not be complete without seeing the Louvre and the famous Eiffel Tower, built for the World's Fair in 1889 by someone whose name I forget. I don't mean I forgot his name in 1889, I forget it now 119 years later, I think it begins with a 'E'. Pickle decided (for his report) that it was built as a lookout post for the defence of the city, to keep a look out for invading monkeys they had seen in the film in the Moulin Rouge.
And now :- PETITE MOUCHE upon the tower/ You get 'plus haute' every hour/ I've tried hard 'aujourd'hui/ But this time you get away from me!
