Apple Pie?

Once a year at a festival, 60,000 apples are used to create this offering to a delighted public. Pickle and Pearl took a little time out from their search for Earth's defences to pose in the display. Can you find them? Clue - a lady is pointing to them. I wonder what would happen if someone were to pull one apple out?
