Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Three peaks

As Pickle told Pearl (she probably already knew) that they were on the Allmendhubel Trail above Muerren in Switzerland. In the background, some well known names of mountains, some famous in American movies. You can see the Eiger, Moench and Jungfrau. The Eiger is well known for its 'counter', the Moench for its 'munchies' and the Jungfrau for being climbed regularly. It can not be known if the middle figure is pointing out the mountain peaks or that he has just spotted Pickle and Pearl and is drawing his companions attention to them.
LITTLE FLY upon the hedge/ It's too much to hit you with a 'sledge'/ Your fragile form sits on a leaf/ My trusty swatter will give you grief.
