Another Navy?
Someone once wrote a song which, if I may quote, started 'With an M -I - crooked letter, crooked letter - I, crooked letter, crooked letter - I, Hump back, hump back - I - Mississippi' etc., and that is where Pickle and Pearl find themselves in this issue, still searching for signs of Earth's mighty defences and it looks as though they have found another example of "A Navy". This rear wheel paddle boat has caught Pickle's attention and not having read Samuel Langhorne Clemens books on the Mississippi river (he was once a pilot on a river boat until he adopted the writers name of Mark Twain, taken from the cry of the sailor 'swinging the lead') he jumped? to a wrong conclusion. Doesn't he always?
