Warren Peas.
The 'guide' thought it might be beneficial to teach Pickle and Pearl something of the technique of reading, forgetting that they had no difficulty with the English, or any other language. However, it would take a little effort for them to be able to apply the printed word to the spoken language. To this end the 'guide' had chosen "Dick and Jane" and "See Spot Run" from the children's section. "That's all very well" said Pickle "now let us have a look at "Warren Peas". The 'guide' looked it up in the catalogue and found it was by one of the fab four Tolstoys, Count Leo Nikolayevitch Tolstoy and let the Ascalonions scan it. It took about twenty minutes and at the end they laughed. "What war" they said.
