Gargoyle.

Sometimes (such as this issue) Pickle and Pearl cannot find anything interesting to regale their reading public with. Like Dorothy in the "Wizard of Oz" the thing they are seeking can often be found right on their own doorstep! This is what happened and P. & P. asked the 'guide' to take a picture of the fierce gargoyle which guards the entrance to their stately home. Although it isn't really a 'gargoyle' (they are usually ornamental water spouts overhanging ancient castles), that is what they called it. What a lot you learn from this poor column!
