This is how some people live in Nigeria. Because of the weather, dwellings are constructed with thick mud walls to keep out the blazing heat, and with the creativity of poor people they decorate their humble abodes with a variety of patterns to glorify their surroundings. It seems to me (the 'guide') that North Americans could benefit from the example set by these Nigerians and build thick walled mud houses to keep out the heat instead of using energy to run air conditioners. With all the rain we have had there must be plenty of mud around.
LITTLE FLY upon the mud/ You must think you're bloody good/ But you're not- you are a dud/ You're nothing but a 'stick in the mud'.
