Mud and thatch

What an education you are getting! I know it is not as good as being there but it is the next best thing. In the African country of Chad, these circular huts and compounds of woven rushes, mud and thatch house millet workers. This particular village houses 600 farmers although their children are looked after by the whole community. I like the idea of enclosing the family space in a compound of privacy although there doesn't seem to be a lot of grass for the children to play on.
