Apres Bowl.

As the previous entry shows, Pickle and Pearl found it would be too traumatic, not to say, painful, if they participated and were bashed around as bowls can be, that is, when one bowl glances off another with a smack it is called a 'wick'. If there are enough of those in an 'end' maybe the game should be called "Candle", (that's a (s)wick joke!). In spite of their non-participation the friendly folk in the Goulbourn Lawn Bowling Club invited the illustrious newcomers to Stittsville to stay for the social gathering and a cup of coffee and delectable homemade comestibles afterwards. Pickle and Pearl expressed their appreciation and said that they now had a full schedule of sight-seeing and would be seeing the sights for the foreseeable future.
