Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Bridge on the River Jock

Pickle said "Kwhy?" and I said "Kwai, what?", "Kwhy is the river called the River Jock?". Actually, it is called the Jock River and it runs through the village of Richmond. It is probably called the Jock river because in the days of the first settlers to the district the river was discovered by one of the original joggers who found the river with no name and because he was a runner and considered himself something of a 'jock' he called the river after himself, Marmaduke, and that is how the Jock river was born.

LITTLE FLY upon the boat/ If the boat sinks you can float/ Or will you fly into the blue?/ I'd do that - if I were you.
