Happy the Clown (the sun shines on)
Last Saturday a family picnic was held on Stittsville Village Square sponsored by Stittsville United Pentecostal Church. There were a number of exhibits set up around the square and in front of the old railway station a band and vocal group sang inspirational songs with a lively beat, and a food stall was set up. Pickle and Pearl wanted to go and as the 'guide' had afternoon commitments the visit had to be early. Many of the stalls were not yet erected but P. & P. were fascinated by the balloons (as always, see 27 April, 2006) of Happy the Clown and the little 'clownette' and the balloon animals and hats that were cleverly fashioned. Pickle and Pearl and the Rap-scallions were delighted and wished they could have stayed longer but as time was pressing the visit unfortunately had to be cut short.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK.
Never think you are getting older - think you are getting riper.
