Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

A Load of Bull!

I (the 'guide') have been approached by thousands, well, one, to enlarge on 'raise a bunion on his Spanish onion' in the 5th July entry. I decided to print some of the words of the song "The Spaniard Who Blighted My Life" written in 1911 by Billy Merson. The first verse tells how the Toreador stole the singers wife away. "Oh yes! Oh yes!/ But I've sworn that I'll have my revenge!
Chorus :- If I catch Alfonso Spagoni, the Toreador/ With one mighty swipe I will dislocate his bally jaw/ I'll find this bullfighter I will/ And when I catch the bounder, this blighter I'll kill/ He shall die! He shall die/ He shall die tiddly-i-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti-ti/ He shall die! He shall die/ I'll raise a bunion on his Spanish onion/ If I catch him bending tonight! There are two more verses and choruses but I won't bore you with them, but for a large sum of money I will tape the song and sing it for you. Unaccompanied, of course.
