Take no notice of the book, take no notice of Pickle, take notice only of the bookmark. The 'guide' having been a musician (trumpet player) (once a musician etc....) in the past was given as a gift the pictured bookmark. What the donor didn't know at the time, some years ago, that the 'guide' had always been fascinated by the French Horn and had never had the opportunity to play one. That is why this particular gift has always been special. Strangely enough, see other end, I had spent some time on the violin. Pickle was fascinated by this and wanted to know if there was a story behind it, this is it.
An apology, I have not yet acknowledged the comment made a month ago by Anonymous. On 16 Mar. A. remarked that this anonymous person was forwarding the GJSingers cake picture to "out-of-town Brit friends". Be it known that until the City of Ottawa decided to encompass the township of Stittsville into its fold, I was an out of town Brit. Thank you Anonymous, it is nice to know someone cares.
