Thunder and Lightning.
There is no picture. I (the'guide') have an explanation to give my faithful readers (both of them) who missed the last isuue of the adventures of Pickle and Pearl on Friday past. While I (the 'guide') was having supper on Wednesday there was a sudden loud bang and the house shook. I walked to the window to see if an aeroplane had fallen out of the sky (where else could it have fallen from?) or a rival (of what?) had unleashed a small bonb but then I heard a peal of thunder and I knew then that I had been lightningized. Apart from a breaker of nothing important being tripped I could find no electrical fault. However, when I switched on my computer at night I found the connection to the Internet had been severed. After calls to Rogers Cable it was determined that the board which controls the connection had been fried, and the computer not even switched on. It took several days to have a new board fitted and here I am safe and sound. This is a lesson to us all, when there is a storm brewing switch off your computer and PULL THE PLUG.
