Raise your glass!

Dear Readers, I (the 'guide') have decided to tell you that because when you read this it will be New Year's Day in the last year of the decade unless you try to take a peek on New Year's Eve. If that is the case I am posting this issue at 4:00 p.m. so that you can join P. & P. in a glass of whatever you fancy. Whichever the case, or whenever you read it I wish you both, with Pickle and Pearl, A Happy and Prosperous New Year and may all your new year resolutions be fulfilled.
