Banal Canal

What are we going to do with Pickle's obsession with water? I know it's not soup, that would be unthinkable! SHHH... don't tell Pickle, I, the 'guide' loves French Onion Soup.... but Pickle does seem to like being near water. He asked for more, just like Oliver Twist, so I took him and Pearl to the locks at Merrickville. Of course they flew down to experience the sensation of travel on a Rideau canal boat going nowhere in particular but that didn't last long, it was not exciting enough. Maybe some day I will take them out to British Columbia where the whales frolic in the mighty rivers off Vancouver Island. Don't hold your breath!
