The Grinch and Christmas

Come to think of it, the Grinch never really stole Christmas and old Scrooge turned out to be a nice man in the end. So why do they both get such a 'bad press? (I, the Writer, would be proud to be called a 'Scrooge'). Pickle and Pearl, being from Ascalonia, wanted to know what Christmas was all about. The 'guide' did the best he could and said Christmas was all about the 'Christmas Parade of Lights' in downtown Stittsville. Of course P. & P. remembering the good turn out for the Villagefest parade wanted to see for themselves. Needless to say, they enjoyed it very much, along with many other Stittsvillains, (should that be Stittsvillians, Stittsvillites, Stittsvillagers? what do you think), and the Grinch himself with his faithful hound showed up to show there was no ill feeling!
