Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Up the Pole

Pickle and Pearl being able to move around the atmosphere with their own mode of transportation i.e. flying, find our means of transportation i.e. the automobile, clumsy, wasteful and dangerous, and they are baffled somewhat by some of our road side signs. The picture above for example. Pickle wanted to know what the striped plate meant and the 'guide' told him it was to warn motorists and passing peripatetic perambulating pedestrians of the wooden post that was there. That, of course, prompted the question of why the post was there, and the 'guide' told him it was to hold up the sign! As Pickle was fond of remarking superiorily,"That would never happen in Ascalonia".
