Canada Day
As you know, Sunday was celebrated as Canada Day across the country. The village where Pickle and Pearl live, Stittsville, was no exception. Among the many activities was a display of old artifacts by the Goulbourn Museum which this old codger (the 'guide') recognized but which the children of this modern age of electronic gadgets did not. Pickle thought he was ancient enough to show himself but everybody sussed (modern lingo) what he was immediately although the top hat fooled them somewhat. Notwithstanding (some sitting) when the volunteer fire department tore a car apart to its bare bones with our councillor, Shad Quadri, inside I wondered how they were going (like Humpty Dumpty) to put it back together again.
THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:- Rap music is a good example of an 'Oxymoron' with the emphasis on 'Moron'
