Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Nelson's Column

This is Trafalgar Square. No, not the one in London, England, the one in Barbados. Nelson was a great hero to the 'Bajans.' and on hearing of his death and great victory at Cape Trafalgar a collection was started to build a memorial, so for over a century and a half this statue of the great naval admiral has stood in Trafalgar Square. So recited Pickle to Pearl as they visited the island. This was a break from the beaches and the sparkling waters of the Atlantic and Pearl said, "Very nice, but we must get back to Stittsville by Saturday for the 'Christmas Parade of Lights', you know we like to take part".
LITTLE FLY upon the plinth/ You can't be like 'Hyacinth'/ You can't wear a funny hat/ My swatter will take care of that.
