A Good Night Out!

Pickle and Pearl, having just returned from their world fact-finding mission heard from their 'guide' that the Goulbourn Lawn Bowling Club would be holding its end of season banquet (last Tuesday) with a 'Silent Auction". As P. & P. had visited the 'Green' several times (you have to go back two years to the beginning of August 2006 for examples) they asked to be included in the festivities. The 'guide' was glad to oblige and Pickle and Pearl were very happy to see their old bowling friends. It was decided that we would not be bowling in the Winter as the only jacks we have are white and would get lost in the snow. Maybe next year, if we can afford it, we will try to buy some blackjacks!
