Who are you going as?
It's that time of the year again. What time? Hallowe'en. The eve of All Saints day, October the 31st. Well, when the Stittsville library held a Hallowe'en storytime (see last issue), after dumping the rap-scallions in the meeting room of the public library, Pickle and Pearl wandered around and investigated the process of checking out reading matter, 'Talking Books', Videos, and musical CD's on loan. If you haven't already you should give it a try. The appearance of P. & P. at the desk startled the patrons and even the two extra heads sprouted for the occasion on the wonderful volunteer who maintained a cool and friendly demeanor for the patron, having seen it all.
LITTLE FLY upon the book/ You're not worth a second look/ It's good they no longer use a stamp/ For that would give you quite a cramp.
