Not another festival!

While Pickle and Pearl wait for a reply from their lords and masters ('It's a long way to Ascalonia, it's a long way to go') and come back, they decided to allow their Rap-scallions to visit the local library to partake in the Hallowe'en story time with fun crafts. This is all wholesome fun and bears no similarity to the later strange and weird festival known as Hallowe'en. This is the night before All Hallows, November 1st, a religious time for the Saints(!). On the evening before, October 31st. the young people (and not so young) dress up and go from door to door begging for candies. This is all done in an attempt to extend the work and services of dentists whose job it is to correct the Caries of teeth which occurs with the large consumption of sugar. But don't mind me, I, the 'guide' am an old curmudgeon!
