Whoopee! At last Spring is sprung. How do I know? Look at the picture above. Robins (Thrushes) are one (two or more things) indicator but you can't beat the new, young buds on trees. That is the sign, the harbinger, the beginning of Spring. It must be because the Tulip Festival in Ottawa is about to begin in May. Are all you gardeners thinking about planting your flowers. As Koko sings in the "Mikado", "The Flowers That Bloom In the Spring, Tra-La....etc". Don't mind me (the 'guide') I am full of the joys of Scottish wine and I am feeling light hearted now that we are going in the right direction.
