Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Aesop's fables?

Says Pearl to Pickle, "Why are we still here in Greece?", Says Pickle tp Pearl, "I have heard it said that the 'Greeks have a word for it', and I want to find out what "IT" is that Greeks have a word for". Says Pearl to Pickle "Forget 'IT', what have we got for the non-paying customers in this issue?" Says Pickle to Pearl, "This is a drawing at the bottom of an old Greek cup of a fabulist, Aesop, talking to a fox. The legend is that Aesop was a slave who wrote the fables but modern scholars doubt that Aesop ever was and never existed, so put that in your Aesop and fable it.
