Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Ships of the desert.

As all my faithful probably know by now, I am a Yorkshireman. And have a proud history stretching back many years. Now along comes Pickle and Pearl to give me pause and show me, apart from themselves, the Greeks have a far older civilisation. This modern picture near Bactra in Afghanistan of a caravan route bears this out. Historically, Alexander the Great camped there en route to India.
I, the 'guide' am taken particularly by the shadows of the camels.
But seriously folks, It's great what you can learn, from Pickle and Pearn. (sorry, but it had to rhyme)
LITTLE FLY upon the trail/ You'll probably let out a wail/ When you ride upon a hump/ And I hit you with a thump.
