Canada Day re-visited.
As Pickle (who was never subjected to Immigration and Customs) pointed out, Canada Day is too important to give only one entry to, so here is the second. A very nice play was staged by a lady and a group of youngsters in the costumes and manners of a country school in the days before any of us? were born, (not counting me of course, I was a brickie on Hadrian's Wall, look it up). The lesson in the picture dealt with "Speling" and the girl responding to the Teecher was given what was then the longest word in the English language, 'antidisestablishmentarianism' and she got it rite! Actually I thought it was only Harry Potter who cast spells but maybe I am rong.
