Pickle and Pearl

A very enjoyable, entertaining selection of the adventures of two onions! Our thanks go out to Walter, who has graciously volunteered to keep us up to date on these two. On this blog, the most recent post is at the top!

Smile-a-lot

The Hysterical Society of Nottingham (H.S.N.) claims to have solved the mystery of the Mona Lisa smile. The Society has unearthed (dug up?) a hitherto unknown version of the 'Mona Lisa' showing the strange appearance of one of Pickle's forbears, or is it Pickle himself? Now we know what the sitter was smiling at. Leonardo said "That's great, hold that smile" and he repainted the picture without the Ascalonion and that is the version you see in the Louvre today. Incidentally, when I saw the original and was completely entranced, the mood was broken by the voice of an American lady behind me who remarked, and this is a true story, "Ah still think she's crass ahd".
LITTLE FLY upon the comb/ Do your legs feel quite at home?/ Do your hairs feel kinda funny?/ That's because they're stuck on honey.
